What they say it does

macOS has no cut for files: Finder's ⌘X is greyed out, and the real move gesture (⌘C then ⌥⌘V) is one almost nobody knows. CutX makes the obvious shortcut do the obvious thing. Press ⌘X on a file or folder, then ⌘V where you want it. The items move. CutX never touches your files — it asks Finder to do the move, so undo, progress, Replace/Keep Both and permission prompts all work as usual. Outside Finder, ⌘X still cuts text. Free, open source, no tracking. 11 languages, incl. mirrored Arabic.
